Meet Gabrielle

Writer at heart. Food scientist by trade. Strategist by day. 

What excites me most is being able to connect with communities. I have a knack for talking to people, understanding what makes them tick, and connecting the big idea into insights.

I spent the first two years of my career in qualitative and quantitative market research, working on brands such as Lipton (RTD Tea), Mondelēz (Oreo), and Haleon/GSK (Theraflu). For the past eight years, I’ve worked with DTC brands in digital marketing across luxury, food, beverage, and hospitality. I’ve built content strategies, developed communication plans, and created messaging frameworks to support emerging and growing brands.

I’m currently shifting into advertising strategy and will be interning at Terri & Sandy this summer.

Approach

Raised with a deep appreciation for food equity, I am tenacious in my pursuit to leave the food system better than I found it. I hold an unwavering commitment to social equity, a deep-rooted passion for food justice, and a belief in queer and intersectional food as the future. This is why I’ve co-created Queer Food Foundation and Pantry Magazine.

I believe continual learning is the only way forward. I’m intentional about investing in myself, so you’ll often find me learning a new skill or taking a course after work. In my free time, I enjoy baking laminated pastries and hiking with my partner and 2-year-old shepherd pup.
