My writing has appeared in both academic and editorial publications in print and digital.

I write about food, beverage, hospitality, and CPG — plus anything that intersects, from tech and culture to climate and travel. I am particularly interested in intersectional equity in all forms, including queer food and climate justice.

I currently write a Costco beat for Business Insider. I regularly contribute to Barsys, a cocktail and tech platform, and Static Media’s portfolio brands like Tasting Table.

My personal newsletter, Gabrielle Bakes, is out now.

I also write a series titled FAMILY MEAL: a monthly newsletter series featuring hand-picked interviews with voices from the food, beverage, and hospitality world.
